Wattbike Taps E-Commerce Expert Ahmed Khodja for Expansion Strategy

Wattbike, a leading indoor smart bike manufacturer, has appointed Ahmed Khodja as the new Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Director. Khodja brings extensive experience in e-commerce strategy from his previous role at global sportswear retailer, Fanatics. In his new position, Khodja will be responsible for developing Wattbike’s global DTC vision and transforming the consumer experience both online and offline. This appointment comes at a crucial time for the company as it focuses on expanding and developing its brand internationally.

With Wattbike’s strong presence in the commercial and corporate markets, including partnerships with the All Blacks and use in elite sport, the sales of their Wattbike Atom smart bike directly to consumers have accounted for 70% of UK sales. The company recently launched the Atom in the USA and is intensifying its marketing efforts to raise brand awareness and market share. Khodja will also support the B2B commercial growth as the team enters new markets in China, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and Hong Kong.

Khodja expressed his excitement about joining the passionate Wattbike team and his commitment to shaping the brand’s digital future. CEO Stephen Loftus welcomed Khodja’s appointment, confident that his expertise in international e-commerce and sports industry connections will accelerate Wattbike’s global e-commerce strategy.

Wattbike, known for its award-winning products, offers the Wattbike Atom at a retail price of £2,399 with financing options starting from £50 per month. The company’s mission is to improve the health and performance of athletes around the world, making it a preferred choice for both top sports teams and everyday athletes.
