The International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) has partnered with REIGN Total Body Fuel, a performance beverage by Monster Energy, to introduce the fourth annual ISSA x REIGN Scholarship Program. This collaboration aims to bolster the career paths of aspiring fitness professionals by offering ISSA Master Trainer Scholarships to chosen recipients.
Since its establishment, the scholarship has enabled 75 individuals to become ISSA Master Trainers. These trainers play a pivotal role in advocating and fostering healthy lifestyles within their communities.
A previous beneficiary of the program, Abigail Sims, spoke about the transformative impact the scholarship had on her. As someone with a disability training primarily disabled clientele, she emphasized the invaluable knowledge she gained from the personal trainer certification course.
Each year, 25 individuals are awarded the ISSA x REIGN scholarships. Recipients of this program undergo rigorous training to develop a profound understanding of personal training, fitness nutrition, and programming. Moreover, they are given an opportunity to join ISSA and REIGN Ambassador Programs to advance their careers.
Andrew Wyant, the CEO of ISSA, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration with REIGN. He highlighted the dual benefits: alleviating financial burdens for passionate individuals and aligning two prominent wellness brands to spur industry growth.
The application period for the scholarship commences on October 18, 2023, and concludes on November 1, 2023. Eligibility criteria mandate applicants to possess a genuine passion for fitness and a dedication to promoting health and wellness in their communities.
